The training intended to promote the idea of human rights as well as the Council of Europe’s activity. It meant to prepare the youth to active participation in the civil society, to take up various initiatives as well as to create and realize local international projects. It enabled and encouraged the participants to co-operate internationally. Even today, the participants and the trainers are in touch. The training also promoted the idea of informal education and the handbook Compass published by the Council of Europe.
Owing to this project, the youth’s knowledge of human rights has been raised. The current problems concerning the very essence of human rights have been shown. The participants gathered not only in the particular knowledge, but they also gained the practical abilities of using it in everyday life.
There were young leaders of civil society from Lithuania, Czech Republic, Germany and Poland taking part in the project.
Trainers: Dariusz Grzemny (Poland), Damian Wojciech Dudala (author of the project – Poland), Hania Sikorska (Poland) and Robert Orell (Sweden).

- University of Human Rights.

- Mechanisms of protecting human rights in Europe and in the world.
- Civil and political laws.
- Economical and social laws as well as laws of the III generation.
- Informal education versus human rights.
- Work on projects.
